In a world filled with misinformation would it not be nice to have a place you can go to get the real scoop? The real deal, ya know like actual facts? Truth is you would be hard pressed to get actual facts. This is the age of alternative facts, nothing is real everything is whatever you’d like it to be and this poisonous logic has permeated every aspect of our world. But there is still one place on this planet that has allowed for greater dialogue and understanding and that is the internet.
The modern internet is about 30 years old and when I say modern I mean internet access to the general populace. Of course the internet and online academies have been around since the early part of the 20th century but it wasn’t until the 90’s that the internet found its way into our homes. My initial point was that you can find the truth on the internet. You can really find anything and sometimes that makes it difficult to filter between sensationalism and facts. Thankfully there are many avenues you can go down to find the true core facts and things of that nature. The topics are endless and range from world news, guns, grammar and everything in-between. Forums like Reddit have revolutionized our world because in these forums everything that eventual goes viral begins there. You can find topics that range from literally everything you can think of. I spent some time on Reddit but it is more of a lifestyle than anything else you have to live and breathe Reddit but there are many other websites that serve the purpose disseminating information and if you want you can grab it. The anonymous movement began on these forums and they have done a lot to change the world.
